Government of the Punjab Agriculture Department through Extension Wing has approved a dedicated project titled "Crop Maximization through Cooperative Farming" for implementation during 2019-20 to 2020-21 to be implemented in districts Sialkot, Sargodha and Rahim Yar Khan. The objective of the project to enhance profitability of farmers through increasing productivity of crops up to 10% per acre and capacity building of farmers through participatory approach of "Learning by Doing".
Duration: July-2019 to June-2021 (24 Months)
Cost: 400.00 Million PKR
Allocation for 2019-20: 200.00 Million PKR

Expected Outcomes
The project will have the following outcomes:
- Quality inputs will be available at door steps of farmer
- Yield of major crops in the project areas will increase
- Income of farmers will increase
